Youth THRIVE Workshop
Presented for the Anamosa School District,Youth THRIVE Jump Start! introduces a research-informed framework to create an environment that enables young people to thrive.
In this Workshop, participants will learn:
The impact that trauma has on a child’s developing brain and how that influences behavior.
Trauma-sensitive ways to interact with youth and others.
The importance of self-awareness, self-regulation, self-care and self-mastery for those who work with young people.
How to examine the role that relationships played in your own development, and how that might be continuing to impact your relationships with others.
The THRIVE Resilience Model™ framework and the research behind it.
Outcomes connected to the THRIVE framework.
Applications and inspirations from using the THRIVE framework in a variety of settings.
Next steps towards developing a comprehensive plan for your organization to better support young people to identify, grow, and share their strengths.
Implementing the THRIVE framework will positively change the climate of any school or organization.
